What it does

  • Migrates products, customers and stock from compatible software, with checks to match the data
  • Till, tables and kitchen together over the local network offline, then automatic sync
  • Support for compatible printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers
  • Daily backup, diagnostics only with your consent
  • Signed updates: any file without the Tchahit signature is refused

Legacy software supported today

  • AlgoStock (local database or backup .sql)
  • Odoo POS
  • Loyverse
  • Excel and CSV files (stock, customers, customer tab)

Another program? Export its data to Excel or CSV first. The program shows a report matching counts and amounts before anything is uploaded, and never changes your original files.

Why Windows may show a message on first launch

This is a usual message for a new program that does not carry a Windows publisher certificate yet; it does not mean the file is faulty. Before continuing, check two things: the file came from tchahit.com and its SHA-256 fingerprint matches the one above. If you are unsure, contact support before continuing.

Signing the installer with a recognised publisher certificate is in progress; Windows will then show the publisher name and these steps will no longer be needed.

  1. 1. Browser: keep the file

In Edge or Chrome you may see “tchahit-connect.exe isn’t commonly downloaded”. Click “…” then “Keep” (then “Keep anyway” if asked).

  2. 2. Click “More info”

Double-click the downloaded file. In the blue window, the small link under the text shows the app name and publisher.

  3. 3. Check, then click “Run anyway”

Check the file’s source and fingerprint before continuing; the name tchahit-connect.exe alone is not enough. If you are unsure, contact support. No administrator rights are requested.

If the warning appears again during installation or an update, check the file’s source and fingerprint before continuing.

Install and link to your account

  1. When launched, the program installs itself in your Windows account (no administrator rights), adds a “Tchahit Connect” icon to the desktop and Start menu, and opens its screen in the browser.
  2. On your phone or another computer: open the shop dashboard on tchahit.com → dashboard home → “Tchahit Connect” card.
  3. Tick what the program may do (offline shop, migration, diagnostics) then “Create pairing code”. The code works once, for 10 minutes.
  4. In the software, open the account section and enter the pairing code. The computer appears on the card with its last connection time; you can unlink it.
  5. For the other devices in the shop (order tablets, kitchen screen): on first launch Windows may ask about the firewall — choose “Private networks” then “Allow”.
