Chocolate sablés (shortbread biscuits)

Method

   Cream the butter with the icing sugar until smooth, then add the eggs.

   Gradually add the flour and baking powder to form a firm dough.

   Shape into small discs and bake in a moderate oven until cooked but not too browned.

   Once cooled, dip in or decorate with melted chocolate.
